Meditating is easy. However, many people find it difficult or challenging. Why?

Sometimes the information we receive about meditation leads to misunderstandings: “Meditation is to stop thinking”, “meditation is to be in absolute peace”, “meditation is a state of nirvana”, “to be able to obtain the benefits of meditation you need to practice more than twenty years”, and a long list of similar statements that scare people, who understand that they are not capable of such challenges, or that they do not have twenty years to practice.

Meditation is the best known and deepest spiritual practice. Its execution is not complicated. In traditional meditation, you just have to sit in a comfortable and healthy posture while being a passive observer of the breath, the internal sensations and the thoughts that emerge. Little by little, the mind calms down and gives way to an increasingly habitual stillness. However, and although this is the most deeply rooted popular belief, the mind does not go blank, it just calms down. Nor is it about reaching a state of ecstasy or stopping thinking for twenty minutes; it is simply a matter of sitting quietly, breathing, and observing the mind.

After many years practicing meditation regularly, this has become my favorite practice, and not because of the benefits it brings me, which there are many, but because I consider it a pleasant practice. Being in silence, breathing calmly, in a comfortable and healthy posture at the same time, is, in a chaotic and noisy world, a very desirable oasis of peace.

Who is this workshop for?
The six-hour workshop divided into two weekly three-hour sessions is designed for people who have never meditated before, as well as for regular practitioners of meditation.

From a simple approach, without complications or excessive theory, the workshop focuses its objective on practice and the pleasure of doing it. Upon completion, you will be able to practice at home or in nature without complications.
