Reiki Master Level Course in Japan

10 May, 2023 8:00 am - 20 May, 2023 5:00 pm

Reiki en Japón

As you already know, Reiki is a Japanese Spiritual Practice developed in the early twentieth century in Japan. Its spiritual roots are Shinto, Taoism and Buddhism. Understanding these roots helps develop a much deeper understanding of the Reiki spiritual path. Shinto —sets of ancient Japanese beliefs, festivities, and rituals—, Buddhism and Taoism give a special touch to Japanese culture and folklore.

For Reiki teachers —or for those who will soon be—, knowing and experiencing that culture, that spirituality and that folklore at its origin: Japan, is a unique opportunity that forever changes both their lives and their understanding of Reiki.

We will enjoy Reiki and meditation classes for three hours every day. These classes will be held in unique traditional Japanese places. We will immerse ourselves in the culture and folklore of the country in Tono, one of the few places in Japan that keep these traditions alive without tourist purposes. We will celebrate the tea ceremony, discover the legends of the gods of the mountains, visit Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples; we will practice the traditional Kagura dance, share time and talk with local artisans, farmers, healers and merchants, enjoy the beauty of spring in Japan and even discover the secrets of rice cultivation; and, of course, we will have an immersion in the Japanese culinary culture.
